Crimes of the False King

Crimes of the False King was a book written by Peter Watershippe, presumably in 1461; it was not published until 1697.* Watershippe's books tend to have a fairly wrathful tone; Crimes of the False King is notably angry [39].
Notes
*. The late publication date — almost 240 years after its supposed authorship — implies that this work existed only in manuscript form and further that this manuscript was either concealed or lost. The fact that Newark Castle (where Watershippe was imprisoned in 1459) was slighted — partially dismantled — in 1648 adds another interesting possibility, although no provenance can be established based on a single fact.
