Mary

Mary (her second name is not given) is a young woman who in 1809 comes to work as a servant in the household of Jonathan Strange. She is described by her mistress as being "a nice, pleasant girl with quiet ways". Mr. Strange's aunt, Mrs Erquistoune, is responsible for finding her[27].
