Belgium did not exist

Belgium, as a separate country, did not exist until 1830. During the time frame of the novel, the area first existed as part of the Empire of France and after 1815 part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.--Chuckhoffmann (talk) 09:54, 18 September 2025 (UTC)
