I swear this is all true

The stuff about the Duke building his fortune with turnips, with not being able to marry Christiane, and the weird succession with James Innes-Ker becoming the fifth Duke is all true. The only speculation is that the Duke's library was auctioned to settle some of the costs involved in all these legal shenanigans, which are claimed to have been decided "at vast cost".--Chuckhoffmann (talk) 06:44, 10 September 2025 (UTC)
