- Death of Jane Tobias.
- Sept - The Duke of Wellington briefly visits Faerie.
1820
- The Life of Jonathan Strange, by John Segundus, is published.
1821
- Dec? - Death of Lord Byron. (Note: this is curiously inconsistent with Wikipedia's own article on Lord Byron.)
1824
- Letters and Miscellaneous Papers of Jonathan Strange, edited by John Segundus, is published.
1830
- Deserters from various European armies discovered in North America by a trapper, Pearson Denby.
- Belgium becomes an independant country, fuelled by an opera: La Muette de Portici. It features emprisoned women, riots, love and hate, despair, the restorative powers of sleep and the eruption of mount Vesuvius.
